2 hospitalized after police chase ends in crash, Missouri City PD says

MISSOURI CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- Two people, including a chase suspect, were taken to the hospital after a pursuit resulted in a crash in Missouri City on Thursday, according to police.

At about 7:37 p.m., the Missouri City Police Department said officers responded to the area around 700 Buffalo Run and Fondren Road after reports of a stolen vehicle.

After locating the vehicle, officers said they initiated a traffic stop, but the suspect took off.

During the chase, police said the suspect collided with another vehicle.

The suspect and occupant of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries, Missouri City PD said.

The incident is still under investigation.
